Appearance
Dakota stands at 6'4'', 150lbs. Pale, milky skin. Seemingly delicate eyes with a somewhat narrow frame. Tan colored freckles peppering a slightly up-turned nose. Medium muscle build, and an almost feminine frame; slight curves to his waist.
Dakota's body build is what you may call average. A moderate muscle build and a firm, strong frame. A very shy hint of a six pack would generally determine that he likes to stay in shape, though he probably isn't into body-building or heading to the gym every few days.
Dakota's eyes are most often said to be a very unnatural blue, with different shades of sapphire and green hues and various textures lying within.
People usually describe them like stained glass.
He has his tongue and left ear pierced, a regular silver bar in his tongue and 3 studs in his ear - two in the lobe and one on the cartilage.
He keeps his ebony hair medium-short in length with shaggy layers that fall down to a quarter inch above his collarbones at the longest areas; framing his face nicely and causing him to look more innocent and mysterious than his personality reveals.
Dakota's wardrobe consists mostly of comfortable and loose clothing that tends to bulk up his figure, wearing heavy boots, jeans, a studded belt, a comfortable tee or a form fitting beater most often paired with a light jacket or hoodie, and some type of neck-wear that is usually a loose silver chain or black cloth choker that frames his collarbones.
Personality
Dakota has a very introverted but usually dominant personally, though most people describe him as apathetic or uninterested towards most situations and people. He is usually reserved, enjoying the company of very few people, which causes him to isolate himself quite often. He keeps the circle of friends he has small, and often finds it hard to get along with others.
When approached in public, he is often listening to music with a cigarette or blunt between his teeth depending on location and is usually on his way to some sort of party if you see him out and about. Or, he is approached at a party, where he is more than likely drinking and smoking the entire time.
He is usually at least vaguely kind and exchanges words depending on who is around him, even if his mood isn't particularly up for it, but if his mood is particularly bad or he is approached by someone he does not like, he can be very straightforward and rude, and isn't afraid to start an altercation.
Other times, he can be very irritated and untalkative either way the situation unfolds, making it crystal clear or dropping hints that he doesn't want to talk to you depending on his mood at the time.
A very key personality trait for Dakota is that he has a relatively short fuse and it is often quite easy to irritate or anger him, making approaching him or getting close to him very difficult.
Dakota has incredibly high standards and may throw up a smoke screen or act unpredictably to hide how he truly feels, and it is very hard most of the time to read him and what he is feeling.
As a result of his past and how he grew up, he is generally not very comfortable with the desires and emotions he feels or can feel, so he keeps them bottled very tightly in the back of his mind. This is due to a heavy and arguably unhealthy lack of trust in others and building walls to protect himself from getting hurt.
Although Dakota has a very thick shell and is usually not the nicest person in the world, often acting as though he doesn't care about anyone but himself and is usually quite self destructive as a result, he does have a soft center for those he does rarely manage to care about.
When he manages, or allows himself to fall for or get close to someone, he often becomes severely attached, overbearing, possesssive, and clingy because the bottle sitting in the back his brain becomes uncorked and he is not sure how to keep his emotions from over-flowing, often driving the people he cares for most away, and then the destructive cycle repeats. For this reason, he does not fall in love or make close friends very easily or very often. He would rather feel no love toward anyone, than feel too much love for someone and have it ripped away just as quickly.
Though Dakota is not one for falling in love easily, he doesn't always hide the fact that he is very sexually experienced and quite a man whore. He also doesn't exactly view sex as something romantic or relating to love, rather than fulfilling a primal need.
This fact usually becomes known when he is high, or when he is drunk, which can be quite often.
